Graeter's Unveils a Fresh Look and New Holiday Flavors

Graeter’s ice cream kicked off the holiday season Nov. 3, 2025, by announcing a packaging makeover and a new trio of ice cream flavors that channel some of the favorite flavors of the holiday season. The brand refresh coincides with the 155th anniversary of the ice cream-maker, which has been doing business in Cincinnati since 1870.

The ice cream-maker’s packaging makeover modernizes the brand while keeping everything you love about its classic look, like retaining an updated-but-similar script logo. 

“Our rebrand honors everything in our past while confidently looking ahead to the next generation of ice cream lovers.  Richard Graeter, fourth-generation president and CEO of Graeter’s Ice Cream, said in a Nov. 3, 2025, press release. “We’re setting the stage for the next chapter of taste.”

The updated packaging gives Graeter’s a fresh look without losing its classic charm. The new look combines refined colors and sleek patterns with a crown emblem that offers nods to both Cincinnati’s nickname — the Queen City — and to Graeter’s well-earned status in the world of ice cream. The brand's iconic script has been updated and is now paired with a new tagline: “Taste the Graetest.”

But the sweetest part of the brand refresh is what’s inside each pint. The 2025 Holiday Flavor Collection debuts three new limited-edition flavors and two longstanding favorites. Cozy Hot Cocoa features a chocolate ice cream base with swirls of marshmallow that call to mind an evening by the fireplace, while Spirited Eggnog offers a taste of the holidays with notes of rum, bourbon and nutmeg. Crème Brulee completes the new flavor lineup, featuring vanilla custard with a crunch of caramelized sugar.

Peppermint Stick returns for 2025 as well, with the holiday favorite infused with crispy peppermint pieces. Completing the Holiday Flavor Collection is Black Raspberry Chip, an icon of Graeter’s lineup of ice cream flavors. Black Raspberry Chip and Cozy Hot Cocoa are in stores now, with the rest of the holiday flavors being released gradually over the next few weeks. Find Crème Brulee in stores Nov. 7, Peppermint Stick starting Nov. 14 and Spirited Eggnog Nov. 24.

All flavors are available now for order online and are also available as part of the Holiday Flavor Collection. This box is a great gift to share (or keep for yourself) and includes pints of the new flavors, a pint of classic Black Raspberry Chip and two pints of Peppermint Stick.
