Everything was arranged for a perfect summer evening. My husband and I placed our supper before us on the terraced lawn at Meijer Garden’s amphitheater: Fresh sandwiches from our favorite deli, cold craft beers beside them. We had our sunglasses on, our cameras nearby. And so we settled back into our lawn chairs, relishing a simple supper and a cool summer breeze as we waited for Emmylou Harris to take the stage.
