Love Pickeball? How About a Courtside Wedding?
Grab your paddles and wedding bands and enter for the chance to exchange vows at this Butler County pickleball complex and win a bunch of prizes for your big day.
Pickleball is a great way to meet someone new, but if you’ve met “the one” out there on the court, then this might be the giveaway for you. That’s right, you can make the nation’s fast-growing sport the backdrop of your big day thanks to The Perfect Match Wedding Giveaway, a giveaway hatched by Travel Butler County and The Pickle Lodge in West Chester.
The Pickle Lodge is the second-largest indoor pickleball facility in the United States, featuring six outdoor and 17 indoor courts. The lodge has never hosted a wedding before, and you could be the first to have a courtside celebration.
“Anybody who plays pickleball has met new friends on the court,” Mitch Dunn, co-founder of The Pickle Lodge said in a Jan. 14 press release. “The Perfect match is the ultimate celebration of the sport’s unique ability to bring people together.”
The winner of the giveaway will be treated to a free wedding celebration set to take place on June 14. To enter, pickleball-loving couples are asked to create a submission that illustrates how pickleball has played a part in their relationship. Contest entries must be submitted to The Perfect Match website by Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
The winner will earn a complimentary hotel stay and a wedding package for 100 people that is brimming with goodies from local Butler County businesses. The wedding also includes a custom cake from Lulu’s Sweet’s Boutique, drinks from Third Eye Brewing Co., a pizza dinner from Two Cities Pizza, a Frannie & Joe Bridal gift basket, pickleball-themed florals from Running on Blooms and more.
