See This Lego Version of Ohio Stadium in Columbus

As college football season kicks off, Legoland Discovery Center Columbus celebrates in a small-scale style and a lot of Buckeye spirit.

College football season is about to kick off, and at Legoland Discovery Center Columbus, the excitement is building ... literally.

To mark the Aug. 30 showdown between the Texas Longhorns and The Ohio State Buckeyes, the center’s model-building team, spiffing up its miniature version of Ohio Stadium. Assistant master model builders Meghan Burns and Rob Malone dusted off the Lego Minifigure fans in the stadiums and readied the players on the field.

To top it off, master model builder Sebastian Noggle created a one-of-a-kind Lego trophy to celebrate the Ohio State Buckeyes’ College Football Playoffs National Championship. The trophy resembles its real-life counterpart and will be displayed as part of the Lego stadium exhibit throughout this college football season.

The model is part of Legoland Discovery Center Columbus’ Miniland, a detailed exhibit showcasing Ohio’s most iconic landmarks and made up of 1.5 million Lego bricks. Legoland Discovery Center Columbus is located at Easton Town Center.
