Ohio Mart Returns to Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens This October

This favorite ticketed event celebrates 58 years in 2025 and brings together over 100 exhibitors selling handmade goods.

Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron is best known for its historic elegance and ties to the family that founded Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, but it also serves as a backdrop for a variety of special events. Oct. 2 through 5, visitors to the former home of Goodyear co-founder F.A. Seiberling can browse a showcase of Ohio-made goods during the 58th annual Ohio Mart.

This year’s event promises 149 exhibitors selling wares spanning pottery, jewelry, home decorations, drawings, photos and much more. Browse knitted items from The Craft Shop and dried flower arrangements from the The Garden Committee, while The Vintage Finds and Curious Goods shops feature eclectic collectibles and other items.

With autumn in full stride, the historic grounds are sure to make shopping a scenic experience. Tickets also include a guided Manor House tour and the 49th Stitchery Showcase in the home’s reception hall. Presented by the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild, the Stitchery Showcase features beadwork, needlepoint pieces and quilts.

Families are encouraged to bring their little ones along to shop and enjoy The Children’s Corner for take-home crafts,. The Playgarden and Homes of Nature are other great places for kids to explore.

Ohio Mart runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. On-site and shuttle parking are available for this event.
