Explore Ohio Mart at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron This Fall

This annual event features 150 juried artisans showcasing handcrafted works, vintage jewelry, photography, culinary products and more Oct. 1 through 4.

Fall color provides the backdrop for Ohio Mart, the annual autumn shopping event at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens that runs Oct. 1 through 4. Explore the historic Manor House and shop from 150 juried artisans, including more than 30 new exhibitors. The four-day event features shopping, food, family-friendly activities and access to the estate’s gardens.

“I invite all to join us at Ohio Mart this year,” said Sue Fassoles, 2026 Ohio Mart Auxiliary Board Chair, in a Sept. 2 press release. “Come enjoy the crispness of fall. It will be a wonderful event with lots of shopping.”

Visitors can shop handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, textiles, home decor, fine art and more, and see the Textile Arts and Artisan Show, presented by the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild, for demonstrations and displays of textile arts.

Try food from more than 10 on-site vendors, including The Pierogi Lady, Uncle Bacon’s BBQ, Chocolates by Erin and Pumpkin Roll Shop as well as Stan Hywet Hall & Garden’s beloved gingerbread cookies.

Admission includes a self-guided tour of the Manor House, a 64,500-square-foot Tudor Revival mansion designed by architect Charles S. Schneider, as well as access to the gardens. The estate was built for F.A. Seiberling — co-founder of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. — and his wife, Gertrude. They lived in the Manor House with their family from 1915 until 1955.

Ohio Mart is one of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens’ largest annual fundraisers with proceeds from the event directly supporting the historic estate’s mission and preservation.
