Hall of Fame Village Hosts NFL Flag Championships

The youth flag football event takes place July 17 through 20 in Canton and features 16 gridiron matchups among four age groups, as well as visits from Hall of Famers.

Steeped in NFL history, Canton’s Hall of Fame Village is the setting for the organization’s Flag Championships July 17 through 20. The ForeverLawn Sports Complex will host 250 American and eight international teams spanning four age divisions. Registration for the event is free, and each ticket can include up to five children per registered adult.

Attendees will also have the chance to win two Super Bowl LX tickets, including round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations. Guests can enter various giveaways from Toyota, Visa and other sponsors over the course of the event.

“Bringing the NFL FLAG Championships back to Canton, a place rooted in football history, is an incredible way to celebrate the game’s future through the eyes of its youngest players and most passionate fans,” Stephanie Kwok, vice president and head of NFL Flag Football, said in a June 26, 2025, press release. “We’re excited to bring together families, teams and the community for a weekend filled with unforgettable moments.”

Players will not only be able to meet college scouts and exhibit their skills in showcases but will also have the opportunity to meet professionals and view memorabilia on display. Notable Hall of Famers in attendance this year include LeRoy Butler, Joe DeLamielleure, Anthony Muñoz, Drew Pearson, Andre Reed and Rondé Barber.

“It will be great to return to the NFL Flag Championships for a second year,” Barber, class of 2023 enshrinee and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback, said in the same June 26, 2025, press release. “It’s awesome to see so much talent and passion on the field, and I can’t wait to join the cheers for the amazing boys’ and girls’ teams. Being part of this event is truly inspiring.”

The championship will also be broadcast on various streaming platforms including the NFL Network, NFL+, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN+, Disney XD and YouTube.
