Charm at the Farm: Worth the Trip
This unique, open-air shopping experience held on an old horse farm in Lebanon, Ohio is only held a few times a year and is totally worth a weekend trip.
Charm at the Farm Vintage Market is an open-air shopping market packed with boho chic vibes. It features an eclectic mix of local and regional boutique vendors who culminate only a few times a year to create a one-of-a-kind outdoor shopping experience.
Charm was born from one woman’s dream to repurpose and transform a 56-acre former horse farm into an enchanting, open-air vintage market full of unique treasures from local artisans and makers, showcasing primarily women-owned small businesses.
Thousands of devoted attendees, known as “Charmers,” flock to the farm from across the Midwest and beyond to attend Charm market weekends held only three weekends a year in June, August and October.
Attendees have a blast shopping for unique pieces from Charm’s 115+ vendors and shops, which are carefully curated to create the exclusive experience.
Charm prides itself in carefully curating only the best specialty boutiques and makers who come together from across the country.
While most Charm vendors are from Ohio, many travel in from Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
The event’s vendors offer a varied mix of boho, rustic, and vintage styles plus handmade items, repurposed furniture, personalized jewelry, trendy clothing, home décor, unique gifts and more. There will even be a mini tattoo artist at Charm this year!
Charm also has endless, gorgeous photo opportunities around every corner. It’s a whimsical and magical atmosphere, perfect for a girls’ day out or a date night.
You can capture your memories in front of Charm’s signature backdrop located in front of the Charm barn or snap a selfie with the newest additions to the Charm at the Farm herd – 3 miniature Highland baby cows – a male named Milk, and twin sisters Mildred and Marigold.
The food and drinks are also plentiful and varied, adding to the overall experience.
Charmers will enjoy several new food and drink options this year, including mini charcuterie, salads, fruits and healthy juices.
VIP ticket holders will also enjoy complimentary wine and beer with their tickets and an exclusive Charm VIP cocktail available for purchase on Friday night only.
Not only is Charm facilitating the success of small, local businesses, but they also give back to the community in big ways by partnering with a different local charity each year.
This year, $1 of every 2025 Charm at the Farm ticket will directly benefit the Giving Voice Foundation, which offers free programs and services for those across Greater Cincinnati who are either living with dementia or caring for a loved one who is.
“At Charm, we strive to promote and uplift small businesses while giving back to our community in meaningful ways,” said Amy Doyle, founder and owner of Charm at the Farm. “Not only will you enjoy a fun and fabulous weekend at the farm as you peruse and purchase unique items and gifts from our talented vendors, but you’ll also be a part of our collaborative mission to inspire overall wellness as we age, particularly in support of those dealing with memory loss.”
It’s a fun weekend of shopping that benefits a great cause at the same time.
If you’re one of the few Ohioans who haven’t yet experienced Charm, you don’t want to miss it this year.
