The Columbus Book Festival Is Back for Its Third Year

The free two-day festival is held July 12 and 13 at downtown’s historic Main Library and Topiary Park, featuring more than 200 national and local authors. 

Stay cool inside the Main Library and hear popular authors talk about their newest books. Check out panel discussions, listen to author talks and presentations about your favorite genres and get your books signed. Books will be sold through the Official Festival Bookstore, co-managed by Cover to Cover, The Book Loft, Gramercy Books and Prologue Bookshop.

Head outside to Kaufman Plaza and Topiary Park to visit nearly 90 independent creators, small press writers and self-published authors under the Indie Author Alley tent. Enjoy food and drinks, new and used books for sale and more than 100 retail and nonprofit exhibitors featuring all things literary in the Festival Marketplace.

Presented by Battelle and the Friends of the Library, the Columbus Book Festival is a highlight of the library’s vision of a thriving community where wisdom prevails.

The Columbus Book Festival, hosted by the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation and Columbus Metropolitan Library, is free and open to all.
