Jeni’s Announces Limited-Release Holiday Flavors

Jeni's has the ability to make you believe goat cheese is a valid (and delicious!) ice cream ingredient, so we’re always amazed when we learn what the Columbus-based brand is up to with its seasonal drops of limited-edition ice cream flavors.

Fall brought the return of Sweet Potato Marshmallow Praline and the new Miso Butterscotch Brownie, and the holiday season starts early this year with Jeni’s five limited-run holiday flavors available to order online and in person at Cincinnati-area Jeni’s scoop shops beginning Oct. 24 ($58 will get you the Splendid Holiday Collection pint pack of all five flavors).

Here are the three fresh seasonal creations and two returning holiday-season favorites inspired by the joy of sharing holiday treats with family and friends in seasonal cookie swaps.

New Arrivals

Seven-Layer Bar: The frozen take on this beautifully dense dessert favorite stacks bittersweet chocolate, brown sugar crumble and coconut-scented toasted caramel cream that makes every bite its own flavor masterpiece. 

Iced Molasses Gingerbread: This one delivers the flavors of grandma's kitchen, but grandma is whipping up gourmet ice cream. A spiced molasses ice cream base is mixed with gingerbread cookies pieces and a swirl of white icing throughout.

Lemon Crinkle: Lemons aren’t just for summer anymore. This creation mixes lemon cream with a swirl of sweet cream to deliver a fresh new holiday classic. 

Returning Favorites

White Chocolate Peppermint: This flavor offers the holiday answer to mint chocolate chip, with swirls of pink and white peppermint ice cream dotted with small chunks of white chocolate.

Pistachio Macaron:  Made using roasted pistachio cream, this variety leans on warmer flavors of the season, with its savory finish and nougat-like honey texture.
