Hall of Fame Hops Craft Brewery Trail Kicks Off
Visit Canton announced the new program, starting Sept. 1, which invites beer lovers to download a passport and explore 16 breweries across Stark County to earn points.
Beer me! The Hall of Fame Hops Craft Brewery Trail kicks off Sept. 1, offering craft beer fans a sudsy odyssey to undertake as we head into autumn. Visit Canton invites participants to sign up for a digital passport and start checking off the 16 breweries across Stark County that are participating in this year’s trail.
Signing up for the pass also notifies users about special promotions and offers on food, merchandise and special events available exclusively to passport users. Check ins earn points, which can be redeemed for prizes ranging from stickers to a bottle opener to glassware. A first visit earns 10 points, while subsequent visits to one of the breweries on the trail earns an additional two points, encouraging beer lovers to branch out and explore.
“Stark County has a strong lineup of independent breweries,” said Adam Longacre, Owner of UnHitched Brewing Company & Woodshop Canton, in an Aug. 25 press release announcing this year’s trail. “Whether you're a regular or you've never stepped into one of our taprooms, the Hall of Fame Hops Craft Brewery Trail makes it an easy way to discover what's being made here. We're excited to be a part of a brew trail that drives more traffic to local craft beer.”
Those who sign up for the passport at HOFHops.com receive a link to the passport sent to their mobile phone via text message and email. From there, the passport can be saved directly the home screen of a participant’s mobile phone for easy access.
