Dave’s Turkey Chase

Toledo

Since 2016, participants have flocked to this 5K race. More than 5,000 runners in turkey-themed costumes take part in the run-walk, which passes popular destinations like Fifth Third Field and Promenade Park. The event directly supports the city’s Cherry Street Mission; athletes are encouraged to bring travel-sized personal hygiene items and new men’s and women’s undergarments. Families can also opt for a one-mile run and a kids race.
