Conducted by Kenneth Bean, cellist Thomas Mesa performs both a new concerto by Jessie Montgomery and Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme." Bookending the program are Mendelssohn's "The Hebrides" overture and Beethoven’s second symphony.
