A Thrilling Act, the Art of Anthony Eterovich
Portsmouth
Born in Cleveland in 1916, Anthony Eterovich dedicated his life to his art. Inspired by his family's Croatian heritage, he produced works bursting with color. A graduate of the Cleveland School of Art in portraiture, he gained national attention by 1951 exhibiting from Cleveland to New York. His paintings include not only portraits, but also street scenes and even abstract canvasses. He continually pushed the boundaries of his reach, producing a prolific, wide-ranging body of work.
