Lights Before Christmas

The tree-lighting ceremony kicks off the six-week display that features more than one million lights and more than 200 illuminated animal images. Other traditions continuing this year include the Ice Slide, Douglas the Talking Fir Tree, ice carvings, Reindeer Rendezvous live animal encounter, visits with Santa and Bumper Cars on Ice in the Winter Village. Don't miss the zoo's famous hot chocolate, homemade fudge and baked goods.
