Summer Moon Festival & Apollo 11 Mission 50th Anniversary

The 2019 Summer Moon Festival activities are extra special this year in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's walk on the moon. This event takes place at several locations throughout downtown Wapakoneta and at the Armstrong Museum, which honors the first man to walk on the moon, Wapakoneta native Neil Armstrong. There will be special appearances made by NASA astronauts, a 5K/10K Run to the Moon, games, food, bed races, wiener dog races, live music and more.
