Love, Aminah: Celebrating a Friendship

Collector Gisela Josenhans and artist Aminah Robinson enjoyed a long friendship, and during that time exchanged many letters and personalized objects, all through the mail. Enjoy the journey of their friendship, the fanciful letters from the artist, and a personal collection of art by renowned Ohio artist Aminah Robinson. This exhibition presents Robinson’s work in conjunction with an archive of letters and other ephemera. Her work reflects community oral histories and stories of the life of the African-American community.
