Like something from the pages of a fairy tale, “House of the River Sticks” is a display of objects reclaimed from flooded areas that creates a world fit for fantastical creatures, at the Southern Ohio Museum in Portsmouth, through February.

Historic downtown Cambridge is transformed into an English village Dickens himself would have loved, complete with life–size characters recreating Victorian scenes and activities.
Photos of jazz performers from the 1940s through 1960s, taken by an avid jazz–fan, are displayed. The photos include such jazz legends as Billie Holiday, Dizzie Gillespie and Ella Fitzgerald.
