For those who live in and
around Summit County, the endless entertainment options are obvious. This year,
Summit County residents, businesses and visitors gathered to celebrate their
favorites at the first annual Summit Up! event, held May 7. The event honored
“best of” nominations made through the My Akron — Tell Us Your Story! Facebook
and Twitter pages. The party coincided with Ohio Tourism Week, May 7–15.
