It’s the second Saturday evening of the month, and the shops on Paint and Water streets in downtown Chillicothe are buzzing with activity. Shop & Stroll, the community’s monthly pitch to draw people to the city’s art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and historic buildings, is in full swing. Horse-and-buggy rides, live music and refreshments highlight the event. And although it is evident that locals are able to greet each other by name, there appear to be an equal number of out-of-towners who have made this their travel destination. Tender Moments
