Return to Her Roots

After her “gypsy year,” author Katrina Kittle found her way back to Dayton, the city that inspires her novels.

That old saying about not being able to go home again isn’t true, not at all.

Just ask Katrina Kittle. When the time came for her to pursue a longtime dream — making the break from teaching to full-time fiction writing — she thought she had to sever hometown ties and roam off into the larger world to do it. Turned out differently, though. She realized that Ohio was really the best place to do the thing she loved, and it’s where the author is now living her writer’s life. Tender Moments
