Pro Football Hall of Fame

While it may be tempting to hide away at home, make sure to get out and explore this winter.
Jennifer Rogers and Kelly Curran
Come in from the cold and get in on the action at Canton’s Pro Football Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to America’s gridiron glory. For nearly 50 years, it has delighted visitors with its commitment to honoring and preserving the individuals and teams who have made an impact on the sport. Hundreds of thousands of visitors flock to the NFL’s birthplace each year.

The museum’s galleries represent players past and present. Guests will love wandering the Hall of Fame Gallery, home to bronze statues and biographies of Hall members. For youngsters who can’t remember the “good old days,” there are the Pro Football Today Gallery and the Moments, Memories and Mementos Gallery — exhibits that use video and audio to display the museum’s treasures in an entirely new way.

At the Hall of Fame, it doesn’t matter if you’re a Browns, Bengals or Steelers fan — the Teams of the NFL Exhibition Area celebrates each of the 32 clubs. Those wishing for a championship win this season should stop by the Super Bowl Room to see what it takes to win the coveted ring.

Finally, make sure to stop by the Hall of Fame store to pick up everything you’ll need for another exciting pro football season, including your favorite team’s official jersey and mascot-adorned foamheads to wear to the stadium.
