Kent State University Centennial Celebration and Campaign Launch
The university celebrated its 100-year anniversary on October 8 with a party at the Kent Student Recreation and Wellness Center. More than 300 KSU alumni and friends joined KSU President Lester Lefton in celebration and to launch a $250 million fundraising campaign. So far, $167 million has been raised.

Max Draime, have provided scholarships and support the KSU Horticultural Technology program through the Draime Legacy Garden program.
Alumna Dee Greene, Emeritus Vice President Charles Greene and Dr. Alfreda Brown, Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, celebrate at Kent State’s Campaign and Centennial year kickoff dinner. The university will host centennial events throughout 2010.
Alumna Roe Green shares a conversation with KSU President Lester Lefton at the university’s Centennial Campaign Launch event. A benefactor of the School of Theatre and Dance, Ms. Green has committed to establishing the Roe Green Center and supports the Roe Green Visiting Director Series.
