Jeni Britton Bauer’s new book adapts her wildly popular concoctions for home cooks.

Fans of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams will most definitely scream when they flip through Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams for the Home.

In the book, (Artisan Books, $23.95), due out this month, Jeni Britton Bauer provides recipes for almost every innovative ice-cream flavor her Columbus company has made, including its signature Salty Caramel. There are even instructions for accompaniments such as hand-rolled cones and Extra-Bitter Hot Fudge Sauce — in fact, everything needed to turn out the same decadent treats created in her 10 scoop shops, right down to the Parisian-style macaroons used to make the ice-cream sandwiches.
